After the success of the first two Kiltumper Writing Workshops, Niall and Christine are offering two more for the summer of ’09 which will take place in the beginning of July and the beginning of August and will run over three days. The workshops are non residential but details of a full range of accommodations will be provided. Lunches and teas are included in the course fee.

Keeping Faith
The workshops will revolve around establishing and maintaining true narrative voice. Participants are invited to send short samples of their work in advance. Both courses are a blend of group work with exercises, and well as individual sessions with Niall.

Making a Beginning
The workshops will also cater to new writers who are struggling to find a voice in fiction. Topics included different narrative approaches and styles, helping writers to identify their own way of story-telling.

Kiltumper Cottage
The aim of the workshops is to encourage writers in the tranquil surrounding of Kiltumper where Niall and Christine have been writing for twenty years.

Cost: 450 Euro for full three days inclusive of lunch and tea n’ cakes!
